Musketeer
A person I know stole a 3 Musketeers candy bar from a drug store the other day. It was just a regular bar, not the giant size. She was browsing and on impulse she picked the goody up and tucked it in the pocket of her raincoat.
“Don’t ask me why I did it,” June said, embarrassed. “It sounds like something you would do if you were 5 years old.”
She admitted she could have paid. She had a $20 bill from a sewing job she had just finished. But somehow, she felt the world owed her a treat.
After pocketing the candy, she picked out a long-handled brush, the kind you use for washing your back.…
